ASG Management System Certification rules and regulations
Purpose
This document outlines the certification rules and regulations of ASG Management System, ensuring impartial and competent assessments for the issuance and maintenance of compliance certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, and others.
Scope
ASG is an independent certification body providing certification services to organizations with effective and documented management systems. The scope of our certification includes:
- Preliminary meetings to define registration requirements and applicable standards
- Conducting independent audits
- Scheduled surveillance visits to verify ongoing compliance with the standards
- Scheduled surveillance visits to confirm standard compliance
Certification Procedure
- Enquiry & Quotation: Interested organizations complete an ASG questionnaire. Based on this, a quotation is provided.
- Application: Upon acceptance of the quotation and payment of application fees, the certification process is scheduled.
- Extension: Requests for scope extensions are verified through special or surveillance audits before amended certificates are issued.
Short Notice Audits Conducted due to:
- Complaints or negative publicity
- Non-compliance with certification conditions
Clients are informed in advance and may object to auditor assignment with valid reasons.
Audit Process
- Stage 1 Audit: On-site or remote review of management system documentation to identify gaps.
- Stage 2 Audit: Full assessment of compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Corrective Actions: Non-conformities found must be resolved by the client with evidence of corrective actions.
- Certificate Issuance: Upon verification, ASG issues the Certificate of Registration.
Validity & Renewal Certificates are valid for 3 years with at least annual surveillance audits. Renewal requires a complete re-assessment at the end of each 3-year cycle.
Surveillance Audits
- Performed once a year (or more frequently, if requested)
- Focus on continual improvement, management review, internal audits, complaints, and other system elements
Special Audits Trigger scenarios:
- Major operational deficiencies
- Standard updates requiring transition
- Major changes to the organization or system
Suspension, Withdrawal & Modification Certificates may be suspended or withdrawn for:
- Failure to schedule/complete surveillance audits
- Misuse of certification marks or misleading claims
Scope may be extended or reduced based on audit findings.
